Sandra Bullock, Christmas movies, The Witcher and more lead this week’s top ten trending titles on Netflix and Disney+. What are you watching?
New titles are really giving the perennial favorite CoComelon a run for its money this week, nearly pushing the pre-k cartoon out of the top ten (you toddlers better step up your game). Number one on Netflix today is The Unforgivable, the new original film featuring Sandra Bullock as a woman released from prison trying to re-enter an unforgiving society. The Sandra Bullock/Netflix film combo seems to work really well, remember her success with Bird Box?
Netflix viewers are also in a bit of a holiday mood, making the sequel A California Christmas: City Lights rank second, while the spin off reality series Selling Tampa made third place. The Witcher is currently at spot No. 5 as fans gear up for new episodes, but will no doubt jump to the top of the list soon as Season 2 dropped today.
- The Unforgivable
- A California Christmas: City Lights
- Selling Tampa
- The Shack
- The Witcher
- Back Outback
- The Queen of Flour
- Lost in Space
- Money Heist
Marvel’s Hawkeye series leads Disney+’ trending list, as fans await the sixth and final episode which will drop December 22. The series is beating out 20th Century Studios animated film Ron’s Gone Wrong which premiered in theaters in October and streaming on December 15. Ron’s Gone Wrong is also available to stream on HBO Max as the first of many titles in the streamers’ shared window deal.
The other titles on the list are mostly consistent with what we’ve been seeing in the past weeks, with the exception of NatGeo’s Welcome to Earth starring Will Smith which is a newer title. And it does our heart good to see viewers still can’t get enough of the original Home Alone 1 and 2 this time of year.
- Ron’s Gone Wrong
- The Simpsons
- Home Alone
- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
- National Geographic Welcome to Earth
- Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
- Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
