ViacomCBS has unveiled the official pricing for its Paramount+ and Showtime bundle that launched last month. The entertainment bundle will now cost $11.99/month for the ad-supported Essential Plan, and $14.99/month for the Premium Plan, with annual plans available at $119.99 and $149.99 respectively.
The bundle originally launched in September with limited time promotional pricing of $9.99/month for the Essential Plan and $12.99/month for the Premium Plan.
With the new bundle, subscribers will have access to both services at a more accessible price point compared to subscribing individually. With Paramount+, subscribers can watch 30,000 TV episodes of shows like Star Trek: Lower Decks, The Good Fight, and the iCarly revival, along with movie titles including Paranormal Activity and A Quiet Place II. With Showtime, that collection of titles expands to include originals like Billions, The Chi, and American Rust.
“This powerhouse bundle gives us the opportunity to connect ViacomCBS’ diverse and differentiated cross-genre content slate with even more consumers,” said Tom Ryan, president and chief executive officer for ViacomCBS Streaming, when the bundle launched last month. “Paramount+ and Showtime are both experiencing tremendous growth and momentum, and we expect this competitively priced bundle to only further expand the reach of both services.”
The bundle is available to subscribers in the US through Paramount+. The ad-supported Essential Plan, at $11.99 per month, combines marquee sports, including NFL games and more than 2,000 soccer matches each year, with on-demand entertainment options spanning the full suite of current and upcoming shows and movies, as well as breaking news through CBSN. The Premium Plan, at $14.99 per month, features commercial-free, on-demand entertainment with 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision and mobile downloads; an extended roster of must-watch sports; and live streams of local affiliates in over 200 markets across the U.S.
