Today, Hulu is notifying Hulu with Live customers that the price of the live TV streaming service will increase to $64.99/month beginning December 18. That’s a $10 per month increase.
The price hike will put Hulu with Live at the same price as YouTube TV after YouTube announced its own increase this summer as it introduced a slate of ViacomCBS-owned channels.
Hulu with Live’s most recent price change was in December 2019, when the monthly cost went up by $10 to $54.99. At that time, Hulu said the new price “better reflects the substantial value of Hulu + Live TV and allows us to continue offering all of the popular live news, sports and entertainment programming included in the plan.”
In a message to subscribers today, Hulu said:
As we continue to refine the Hulu + Live TV experience, we’re reaching out to let you know the price of your Hulu + Live TV plan will increase from $54.99/month to $64.99/month on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Hulu + Live TV continues to be the only live TV streaming service that offers an entire on-demand streaming library – including more than 70,000 TV episodes and movies, and award-winning Hulu Originals – along with more than 65 live news, sports, and entertainment channels, all in one place.

Hulu with Live has maintained its title as the largest live TV streaming services, reporting 4.1 million subscribers for Q3. YouTube TV recently reported just over 3 million subscribers and Sling TV now has 2.46 million subscribers.
