As 2021 comes to an end, there are many ways that people can celebrate bringing in the New Year as the clock strikes midnight. From New York to Los Angeles, tonight there will be plenty of different broadcasts that cord cutters can choose from as the ball drops at 2022 begins.

Below are a few different specials that will feature the Times Square Ball Drop in New York City.

New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen return to count us down until the clock strikes midnight and 2022 begins. This will be the 5th time that the duo has hosted the New Year’s Eve special and they will be joined by a few of their CNN colleagues from remote locations throughout the special. The musical performances will be headlined by Katy Perry from her new Las Vegas Residency. Other special guest stars throughout the night, include William Shatner, Patti LaBelle, Earth, Wind & Fire, Duran Duran, Amanda Gorman, Patti LuPone, David Arquette, and many more.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest

The long-running special will be celebrating its 50th year when the ball drops into 2022. Ryan Seacrest will be joined by first-time co-host Liza Koshy in what will be a fun celebration to end 2021 and enter 2022. Jennifer Lopez will headline the musical performances. LL Cool J, Avril Lavigne, OneRepublic, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Jessie James Decker, Billy Porter, D-Nice, Ciara, Daddy Yankee, and Roselyn Sanchez are just some of the performers set to appear from various locations, from LA to NY and Puerto Rico.

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party

Singer Miley Cyrus will be joined by co-host comedian Pete Davidson to bring in 2022 with a bang. The pair won’t be alone as Brandi Carlile, Billie Joe Armstrong, Saweetie, Anitta, Jack Harlow, 24kGoldn, and Kitty Ca$h are scheduled for the event. The show will be taking over for NBC’s former New Year’s Eve special that was hosted by Carson Daly since 2004.

When:  10 to 11 PM  & 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM ET

Where to Watch: NBC and it can also be viewed on the NBC app and Peacock on most devices.

Times Square New Year’s Eve 2022

If you’re not a fan of commercials, or just want to watch the Ball Drop, interviews, and performances without interruptions, Times Square NYE will be live streaming the event from their website. The free webcast will feature behind-the-scenes stories, interviews with celebrities, performances, festivities, and much more.

Cord cutters have plenty of options when it comes to an entertaining end of 2021. There are plenty of ways to watch the Ball Drop without cable as many major livestream services carry the aforementioned channels.
