NBA TV tips off this week’s national NBA action. The 9-8 Cavaliers will host the 12-5 Nets in an Eastern Conference matchup. The Cavs will be without rising star Collin Sexton, who will miss the remainder of the season after having surgery on a torn meniscus. When these two teams met in Brooklyn, on November 17, the short-handed Nets outlasted Cleveland, 109–99.

The Kings will host the 76ers in the late game on NBA TV. The Kings recently fired former head coach Luke Walton. The crown is too heavy for the Kings as they’ve lost 7 of their last 8 and have been playing uninspired basketball. Interim head coach Alvin Gentry will have his hands full against All-NBA center Joel Embiid and a tough Sixers team.

The NBA returns to TNT with a loaded doubleheader. Lakers-Knicks will tip off the night with a huge contest at Madison Square Garden. Earlier this season, Knicks fans were yelling “Bing-Bong” because New York’s favorite team was looking like an early-season contender but things have changed as they began to struggle. Julius Randle will be looking to upset the Lakers, who are also struggling this season.

Two Northwest Division hopefuls will shine during the late game when the Blazers and Nuggets tip-off on TNT. Both teams are chasing the Utah Jazz for first place in the division. This is the first matchup between the division rivals this season, the winner will be able to establish momentum inside a tough division in a tougher Western Conference.

The Atlantic Division will be front and center on ESPN as the NBA returns to the network. Jayson Tatum and the Celtics will host Kevin Durant and the Nets. This is the first time these two teams have met since the Nets eliminated the Green Team, 4-1, in the 2021 NBA Playoffs. The Celtics have taken a step back since last season but a win against Brooklyn could get them back in the right direction.

The Steph Curry Show returns to ESPN in a late-night matchup against the Sixers. California’s best team will host the Philadelphia 76ers in what should be a fun contest on the West Coast. The Warriors entered the week at 15-2 and will look to keep their league’s best record intact.
